Dr. Thompson’s professional journey spans over three decades of emergency medicine practice, with progressive leadership roles including Medical Director, Department Chair Emergency Medicine, and Chief Medical Information Officer.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois.

Dr. Thompson leads the creation and strategic oversight of clinical adult telehealth triage guidelines utilized across telehealth platforms, call centers, and electronic health records in North America.
